Medicare Supplements
Medicare supplements, also known as Medigap plans are insurance policies that are designed to cover deductibles, copays, and coinsurance amounts that are not covered by Original Medicare Parts A and B. For example, most Medicare supplements will cover the Part A hospital deductible of $1,556 or the Part B coinsurance of 20%. I encourage you to watch the video to learn more.
Prescriptions Drug Plans
Prescription drug plans are identified as Part D of Medicare. Prescription drug plans provide coverage for medications that you will pick up at your local pharmacy or receive through mail-order pharmacies. Watch the video to find out more.
Medicare Advantage Plans
Medicare Advantage plans are identified as Part C of Medicare. A Medicare Advantage plan is an insurance policy in which a private insurance company administers an individual's Medicare Part A and B benefits. Most plans will also include Part D benefits as well. They are often referred to as all-in-one plans and usually include some type of dental, vision, and health benefits that are not currently covered by Original Medicare Parts A and B.
